Well, things with my health are going well. I'm cancer free, my new jaw bone is healed, and my doc has given me the go ahead to start pursuing future plans (wherever they might take us). I feel excited that we can start moving into the next stage of life.
Speaking of the next stage of life, Mandy and I have felt the call to go to Mazatlan, Mexico to start a new site with Back2Back Ministries. Mazatlan sits on the Pacific coast and is a commercial/tourist town with a population of 500 thousand people. There are 6 children's homes in the area and we have begun a relationship with 5 of them. We feel extremely excited at the prospect of supporting these homes and the kids who live there. Our ideal timeline would be to land in Mazatlan in January, 2012.
There are 3 hurdles to get over to stay on this timeline.
